The first Facebook party organized by the Shanghai FUN(
facebook) network was a party to remember, over 650 people showed
up and we kept the whole 2 floors of the club reserved just for
facebook people, with hip hop on the first floor, and house on the
2nd, everybody could party to the music they liked this was a mega
party to go down in the history books

The Volar bar staff worked so hard til their swear dripped to
serve us our drinks
This message applies to you if you came to the Shanghai fun /
facebook party at Volar Bloc, First i would like to say
thanks for coming, the turnout was higher than expected so it got
pretty crowded inside!!, but we tried hard to get extra bar staff
on, and i saw that some of them were dripping sweat so they were
certainly trying their best to make sure everyone got their
drinks.Its nearly impossible to make every single person completely
happy at any party but all in all i think it went pretty well, i
like the fact that their alcohol was high quality , and also the
fact that they gave people generous proper sized glasses, instead
of small ones not much bigger than shooters, which was a complaint
from the last facebook party, i also enjoyed the mix of house and
solid hip hop music,! i guess some people found the area to keep
their bags got filled up too quickly! yep,.sorry folks!. but that`s
just down to overcrowding, Next time we will find a bigger venue
for any" full sized Shangahi fun / facebook party!" this one was a
tester, we are planning some new bigger venues in future and some
new theme ideas, we aim to bring the shanghai fun and local
facebook community together to party and get more familiar, if i
was to say what would be my ultimate party aim for shanghai fun /
facebook, i would say it would be to eventually have a huge outdoor
rave or trance event in some park or wicked location, anyway that`s
just a thought for the future! summer does make outdoor options
optional, We totally wanna get ideas and feedback from you guys so
